During the summer of 2017 I was being fast tracked into a surgery to remove a narrowing around my ileum to my small intestine. About 8 inches of my intestine was removed. As a form of comfort and therapy in an extremely emotional and challenging time in my life, I decided to document the journey. From the beginning of June, Until about 3 weeks after post op, My objective was to capture important emotional moments of the process. I attempted to present the photos in the way I saw the world throughout this time.
